The Heavy Metal Detox Conversation

The Conversation Starter

In light of recent events in our country, we have been inundated with eye opening information plus a dose of the scaries. With that in mind, let's not dive into the fear but arm ourselves with the tools given to us by our creator through nature to help alleviate the load of metals that may be sitting in our bodies.

The Herbs, Spices, Supplements, etc.

Most of these items can be found at the grocery store or on Amazon here.

  • Cilantro and Parsley
  • Ginger and Garlic
  • Chlorella and Spirulina
  • Burdock Root, Dandelion Root, Yellow Dock Root
  • Red Clover Blossoms
  • Atlantic Dulse
  • Bentonite Clay (Calcium is more gentle while Sodium is more aggressive)
  • Shilajit
  • Barley Grass Juice Powder

And the list could go on. We are very blessed to have so many natural options at our fingertips ready to be explored.

Always Add a Binder When Detoxing

When you start to detox metals you want to include a binder. A binder acts as a magnet in the digestive tract to attract the heavy metals to help prevent them from being reabsorbed into the body. It assists the body in safely eliminating the toxins from the GI tract by carrying them out with your stool.

The most common binders on the market today are:

  1. Zeolite
  2. Activated Charcoal
  3. Bentonite Clay

These can also be found here

It's important to do your research when starting a new health plan, especially when it comes to detoxing. Make sure when actively detoxing heavy metals from the body, you are using a quality binder for absorption and removal, drink lots of filtered water, and always start low and slow to see how the body responds.

Take care
